But one must look at the context in which it occurred, last trading day of the year......they could have continued to float the market higher into the close like the last 10 trading sessions.
But no........
they have telegraphed you their intentions for the 1st week of the year so utilise it in your favour my friend. The spike in volume just adds credibility to the argument, but if you are sceptical then one must wait for further confirmation at the start of the week.

i have matched up youre chart with the p/f of the spy.a slight contradiction.the volume spike that ocurred in the last 30 mins.ie the selloff.
look at the last p/f column when the price broke down.this does not look overtly high,compared to the last 5 columns.let me know what you think
